Sophia Troldborg Ohmann recently finished her master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. She wrote her thesis in collaboration with Coloplast A/S, designing and developing prototypes of an assistive device to accompany one of Coloplast’s existing devices to expand the user group of the device. To test the safety, effectiveness, and intuitiveness of the prototypes, she conducted usability testing on potential users. Throughout her studies, Sophia has acquired knowledge about the processes involved in developing medical devices, prototype development as well as gained an understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
Sophia has previously worked as a student assistant in LEO Pharma and Xellia Pharmaceuticals, where she was involved in implementing new IT systems across the organizations. In her job at LEO Pharma, Sophia also became acquainted with many of the Quality Management processes, i.e. Complaints, Deviations, Change Controls, and CAPAs.
We wish her welcome to the team as Human Factors Specialist!
