Mathias obtained his MSc degree in Design and Innovation from DTU in 2018, where he focused on mechanical product development and conceptual design.
For the past two years Mathias worked at KiteX IVS, a start-up specializing in wind energy and drone technology. As part of a small and dynamic international team of engineers from various backgrounds, he participated in all phases of an early technology development project, including planning, fundraising and technical work. In particular, he gained experience with mechanical design, simulations, prototyping, and testing.
Alongside his studies Mathias worked as Teaching Assistant at DTU Management and DTU Mechanical Engineering, as well as Student Assistant at Oticon A/S. He wrote his MSc thesis in collaboration with MASH Biotech, focusing on ensuring end product robustness in the scaling of a pyrolysis reactor for bio-oil production. He achieved this by adapting robust design terminology and methods from the mechanical realm to the realm of process manufacturing.
We look forward to benefiting from Mathias’ development competencies, and we are happy to welcome him to the team!
