Lisbeth holds a master’s degree in Design & Innovation Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. Her thesis was conducted in collaboration with Radiometer and the Danish Institute of Medical Simulation and explored the benefits of using medical simulation to conduct high fidelity usability testing of medical devices.

After graduating in the Spring of 2014 Lisbeth relocated to the US to work as a human factors/usability consultant in medical device development, first at UL-Wiklund R&D in Boston, and later at Insight Product Development in Chicago. Here Lisbeth gained excessive knowledge and experience in developing a range of different medical devices with focus on usability, both in terms of designing products that are intuitive and easy to use, and documenting the process.

Upon returning home to Denmark in the Fall of 2017, Lisbeth joined Oticon as the first human factors specialist in the company. She established the usability process and helped spread the knowledge and mindset of incorporating usability in the product design from concept to launch.

We are excited to welcome Lisbeth to the team!
