Linnea finished her master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2019. In her master’s thesis she implemented an algorithm for automatically detecting coronary arteries in computed tomography angiography images. This was done with the purpose of detecting constrictions of the coronary arteries due to atherosclerosis. After finishing her studies Linnea worked as a research assistant at DTU implementing an algorithm for 3D modelling of faces from 2D images of faces.


During her time at DTU, Linnea acquired a broad knowledge of the different aspects of medical device development. She also has a great understanding of the human anatomy and physiology as well as the diseases in the human body. Linnea has a great insight into many different types of medical devices and has conducted experiments with several types of devices.
