Bjarke graduated from Aalborg University with a MSc in Industrial Design in 2014. His Master Thesis concerned the development of a new hospital bed with a built-in laminar airflow curtain designed to prevent the spread of Hospital Acquired Airborne Infections. This involved both computational fluid dynamics, to ensure an even laminar flow, as well as usability engineering and testing at Rigshospitalet to ensure that the device would fit into the workflow of healthcare workers.
Since his graduation, he has worked in RnD at Oticon where he has driven Hearing Aid projects from early inception all the way through to ramp up. This has allowed Bjarke to become experienced with both value-driven user-centric conceptual work and executing these concepts with a strong emphasis on robust design and design for manufacturing and assembly.
We look forward to welcoming Bjarke to the team!
