Kimmie Frydenberg graduated from Aarhus University in February 2020 as a mechanical engineer and is currently finishing her master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. As a part of her education, she worked as an intern at Escea fireplaces in New Zealand, where she spend 6 months working on design, testing and documentation of exclusive gas fire places.
In her bachelor project Kimmie 3d printed an atherosclerotic coronary artery phantom with the aim of mimicking mechanical and geometrical properties of the native tissue for evaluation of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in collaboration with Aarhus University Hospital. Her educational background has provided her with knowledge in mechanics, materials, human anatomy and physiology and development of medical devices.
